Are you passionate about developing the core firmware that drives modern industrial systems?

We are looking for a Firmware Engineer to join our client’s remote Argentina-based team, working on innovative RISC-V embedded platforms powering next-generation industrial automation solutions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with embedded firmware development, RISC-V architecture, and real-time control systems.

Your Role:

• Develop and maintain low-level firmware for RISC-V microcontrollers used in industrial automation equipment.
• Collaborate with hardware design, software development, and systems engineering teams to integrate firmware with sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces.
• Optimize firmware for real-time performance, reliability, and power efficiency.
• Support testing, debugging, and validation activities on embedded platforms.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in embedded firmware development, preferably with RISC-V or similar architectures.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming for resource-constrained embedded systems.
• Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and low-level hardware interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART).
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, CAN) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
