Job Description

You will join the IT Department's Network and Security team, whose role is to design and operate Datacenter/WAN/Campus network infrastructure for the bank, as well as key security elements like firewalls.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in network protocols, network architecture and linux-based network operating system and have a strong appeal for automation. Your expertise will help guide your team to improve their stack and work towards providing Infrastructure as a Service.

With your team, you will work closely with IT architects and Performance Analysts to plan and execute the department’s long term technical objective of providing AWS-like cloud capabilities on-prem.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable and programmable datacenter fabric, core network and internet peering.
• Modelize and operate Campus and WAN network.
• Elaborate and implement firewall infrastructure, collaborate with IT Security team to match the company's security needs.
• Automate using frameworks such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Maintain the infrastructure and participate to day-to-day operational tasks, define capacity planning, perform system upgrades and configuration changes.
• Monitor performance, identify issues and implement solutions to prevent downtime.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for network/security issues.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure systems are designed to meet business needs.
• Participate in the on-call shifts.
  
  

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
• Proven experience in managing complex network infrastructure, such as EVPN-VXLAN fabric.
• Strong understanding of server infrastructure, cloud computing, and cyber-security.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working with multi-functional technical and business teams, along with different levels of management to influence decision making.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Linux-based network operating system, such as Cumulus Linux or SONIC.
• Expertise in routing protocols (MP-BGP/OSPF/EIGRP).
• Proven experience in firewalling (Palo Alto/Forcepoint/Fortigate/Checkpoint).
• Proven experience in automating network configuration and reducing toil.
• Proficiency in Python or GO.
• Proven experience dealing wih Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Comfortable with Infrastructure as Code tooling (Ansible, Terraform, Git, etc...).
