Android Developer

Scope of role

We are looking for someone with a M.Sc in Software Engineering or equivalent experience through years of practice to join our team in creating a state-of-the-art Android Emulator. As an Android Emulator Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing an emulator that replicates the Android environment seamlessly. This role requires a deep understanding of Android development, system architecture, and virtualization technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define specifications for the emulator

• Setup a design plan and devide up the work between customer and the Android Supplier

• Design and implement an automotive Android Emulator that accurately replicates the android operating system.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to the emulator’s functionality, performance and compatibility

Knowledge/Experience

You are a passionate and accomplished Android developer with a proven track record in Android software development. Proficient in independently formulating and executing work plans, you possess the ability to drive projects forward. Additionally, you excel in collaborative environments, adept at working with external teams to collect essential information.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• We are looking for someone with a M.Sc in Software Engineering or equivalent experience through years of practice.

• You have several years’ experience of Android app and Android platform development along with experience in AOSP and the AOSP build system.

• You should have good knowledge in Android Java, C++, Python and experience in Android testing frameworks (Junit, Espresso, Mockito). Furthermore, with experience from working with Continuous Integration.

Familiarity with virtualization technologies and experience with emulator development is a strong plus
