IT Cybersecurity Project Manager

About the Role:

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Project Manager with expertise in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), particularly with SailPoint IdentityNow. You will lead the end-to-end delivery of identity governance programs, helping clients modernise their access controls, migrate from legacy systems, and enhance compliance in cloud-first environments.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in cybersecurity project delivery, hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityNow, and the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive project plans with clear milestones, deliverables, and timelines; lead kick-off meetings to align stakeholders on scope and expectations.
• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and integration of SailPoint IdentityNow with enterprise applications, directories (e.g., Azure AD, LDAP), and cloud platforms.
• Assess and document existing identity governance tools and processes; lead the decommissioning of legacy solutions and execute secure, accurate data migrations to SailPoint IdentityNow.
• Coordinate with security, infrastructure, and compliance teams to ensure IdentityNow implementation aligns with internal policies and regulatory obligations.
• Maintain transparent communication on project status, risks, and blockers; facilitate regular stakeholder updates, requirement-gathering sessions, and decision-making workshops.
• Develop and manage test strategies including unit, system, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT); ensure all IdentityNow features are validated and issues promptly addressed.
• Deliver tailored training to technical teams and business users on IdentityNow capabilities and administration; produce detailed user manuals and support documentation.
• Lead project closure and transition to BAU (Business-as-Usual) operations, ensuring support readiness and full stakeholder sign-off on deliverables.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience managing IGA/IAM projects, with at least 2 years of hands-on delivery experience in SailPoint IdentityNow implementations.
• Proven expertise in delivering IdentityNow solutions across key use cases: identity lifecycle management, access requests, access reviews, certifications, and policy enforcement.
• Deep understanding of identity governance best practices and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX, HIPAA).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across technical, business, and executive stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as SailPoint IdentityNow Certified Implementation Engineer, CISM, CISSP, or PMP are highly desirable.
• Comfortable operating in agile and hybrid project environments, with a proven ability to adapt delivery approaches to organizational needs.
