A fast-growing European cryptocurrency platform is looking for a Head of Business Development to lead strategic growth efforts. Your Role:

As Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for driving growth through partnerships, trading initiatives, and platform development. You’ll lead a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments to scale business performance and strengthen the company’s position in the European digital asset landscape.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute business development strategy aligned with market trends and company goals.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities across product lines such as Earn, Staking, and Trading.
  • Conduct research to support executive decision-making and growth initiatives.

Trading & Financial Strategy

  • Oversee trading book expansion, OTC deals, and liquidity management.
  • Drive revenue via trading strategies and optimize risk and collateral structures.

Product & Platform Development

  • Lead product innovation, including asset listing, contract integrations, and wallet infrastructure.
  • Improve operational processes and customer journeys through data and tech enhancements.

Partnerships & Ecosystem Growth

  • Build and negotiate with key partners (exchanges, DeFi, institutions).
  • Represent the company at global events and drive strategic collaborations.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor a high-performing business development team.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Operational Oversight

  • Oversee partner onboarding, validator integrations, and compliance administration.
  • Support internal finance and legal operations with accurate execution and documentation.


What You Bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in business development or partnerships, ideally within crypto, fintech, or financial services.
  • Proven ability to scale revenue and close strategic partnerships.
  • Deep understanding of blockchain, trading infrastructure, and the broader fintech ecosystem.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with a pragmatic, hands-on leadership style.
  • Experience managing teams and cross-functional collaboration.
