iOS Reverse Engineer

Description:

We are urgently looking for a Reverse Engineer with deep expertise in iOS application analysis and reverse engineering. This is not a typical Java developer role — we are specifically seeking someone who has hands-on experience disassembling, injecting, and analyzing iOS apps using industry-standard tools.

You’ll work on challenging technical problems that require a low-level understanding of application behavior, traffic flow, and runtime manipulation, while also contributing to Java-based backend components and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform reverse engineering of iOS applications
• Analyze application behavior using injection tools (e.g., Frida)
• Disassemble iOS apps using tools like Hex-Rays IDA
• Monitor and manipulate network traffic with tools like Charles Proxy
• Collaborate with developers and security engineers to uncover app logic and flows
• Support backend components written in Java
• Deploy and maintain infrastructure on AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Use Datadog for observability and monitoring

Must-Have Skills:

• Proven experience with reverse engineering iOS applications
• Expertise with tools like:
• IDA Pro / Hex-Rays
• Frida / frida.re
• Charles Proxy or similar network traffic tools
• Strong understanding of runtime injection, hooking, and instrumentation
• Good working knowledge of Java
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Datadog
