We are seeking an experienced and meticulous hands-on Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with Singapore financial regulations. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and have adaptability to change in a fast-paced environment. Candidate should have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in full set accounting. You will play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, and statutory compliance, supporting strategic financial planning and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end to end monthly closing process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, adjustments in accordance with IFRS standards as well as company policies.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliation, monitor AR and AP aging
- Review and approve vendor invoices and ensure compliance with procurement policies
- Prepare payments and upload entries into system as well as bank for approval and release
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements and schedules (e.g. Prepayment, FA, Depre, ROU, Misc AP/AR, etc…)
- Provide insights and analysis during balance sheet and P&L review for management
- Oversee and ensure timely submission of GST returns, including proper reconciliation and documentation
- Experience in preparation of IRAS Form C and ECI and ensure timely submission as well as corporate tax compliance with local tax regulations
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance indicators
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies as needed
- Improve and implement financial systems, internal controls, and accounting procedures
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in full set accounting
- Experience with GST submission and IRAS ECI and Form C preparation
- Strong knowledge of Singapore tax and accounting regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or equivalent) as well as Microsoft Office (Excel and Word are a must). Experience in Oracle Netsuite is a plus
- Bilingual (English and Mandarin) is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing the full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL
- Familiarity with corporate secretarial requirements and payroll processes (optional)
