Freelance OT Security Expert – Critical Infrastructure

Location: Hybrid (2 days/week in Zwolle + potential travel to other sites in Netherlands)

Contract: 6 months + extension

Sector: Energy / Utilities

Start: ASAP | Language: Dutch & English

We’re looking for an experienced OT Security Expert to support a major grid operator on a critical, multi-track assignment focused on Operational Technology and information security.

You will focus on key OT Security projects related to: ISMS Controls, Physical Security, Workplace Project, and Setting up new ISMS Tooling.

Your profile:

• 10+ years in OT security and/or project management in complex environments
• Deep knowledge of SCADA, PLCs, DCS, and industrial protocols
• Strong experience in OT, physical, and information security
• Energy or grid sector experience is a plus
• Fluent in Dutch & English
• Proactive, independent, and stakeholder-focused
