Senior Network Engineer

Penta Consulting are a technology service provider and leading outsourced partner helping to deliver professional and managed solutions across EMEA.

We’re looking for an Experienced Senior Network Engineer to support one of our key clients across the UAE. As a Senior Network Engineer, you’ll lead the design, deployment, and operations of complex network infrastructures, ensuring performance, scalability, and security across enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate will be located in the UAE and available to start ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of high-performance, resilient network infrastructures across multiple environments.
• Implement and manage enterprise-grade network solutions, with a strong focus on security, reliability, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve high-level network incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and service disruption.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to assess network needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Maintain documentation and network diagrams to support ongoing operations and future upgrades.
• Participate in network audits and compliance activities, providing expert guidance where necessary.
• Stay updated with evolving technologies and recommend improvements aligned with industry best practices.

Key Requirements:

• CCIE certification is required – candidates without this will not be considered.
• Strong experience with enterprise networking technologies including routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Proficiency in network performance tuning, monitoring tools, and troubleshooting large-scale networks.
• Solid understanding of network security best practices and technologies.
• Experience with Huawei network equipment is a strong advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across technical and non-technical teams.
