Finance Team Lead - General Accounting

The Opportunity

In this role you will lead a functional work team within General Accounting focused on the complete, accurate, and timely completion of accounting transactions. Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and procedures as well as external regulatory requirements.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Providing leadership and professional know-how to Common Shared Services Finance General Accounting team, promoting process excellence.
• Leading a team focused on creating, standardizing, maintaining, and optimizing processes within area of responsibility.
• Fully managing human resource planning, selection and development of team members.
• Ensuring support for timely and accurate financial and business reporting (weekly/monthly).
• Ensuring consistent use of the internal control system within area of responsibility. Working closely with Control owners to develop and improve controls and processes.
• Ensuring timely and accurate monthly reporting of the General Accounting Key Performance Indicators.
• Implementing a strategic roadmap and operational plan set by Finance Delivery Manager - General Accounting.

Your Background

• Previous experience in accounting or finance (preferably in Finance Common Shared Services)
• Experience in leading or coordinating a team
• Ability to create an atmosphere of collaboration and trust
• Ability to engage and motivate team members
• Proficiency in English
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
