As a core member of our Enterprise Platform and Engineering IT team, you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends.

Citco seeks a highly skilled Jenkins Administrator to assist in the development and management of a common enterprise pipeline tool using Jenkins, define CI/CD strategy, and drive adoption across our organization. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of Jenkins platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building large, scalable Jenkins infrastructure and has experience in maintaining and managing the platform. This is a hands-on technical role focused on developing the next generation enterprise pipeline infrastructure.

This position reports to the SVP of Enterprise Architecture and Platform Engineering and is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and someone who has that unique combination of technical savvy and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

• You will be responsible to design, engineer and maintain a unified enterprise pipeline framework leveraging Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, or other relevant tools.
• Have skills to customize Jenkins, manage plugins and know how to upkeep the server and workers to manage scalable workloads for development teams.
• Build a scalable Jenkins platform that can handle multiple concurrent jobs and service all IT teams.
• Assess emerging CI/CD technologies, recommend improvements, and drive tool adoption across teams.
• Define deliverables and timelines and be responsible for ensuring these are met on time.
• Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, align on strategy, and champion DevOps culture.
• Pipeline administration and ensure all teams utilise Infrastructure as Code to effect change and that the environment features the required controls and audit components to validate resource compliance
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and coaching for all staff and foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, innovation and collaboration
• Define and implement all operational components required to proactively monitor and manage the production environment, identify operational issues and maintain efficient operations
• Define and enforce governance, security, and compliance standards across the pipeline ecosystem.
• Identify bottlenecks, propose optimizations, and push for end-to-end automation in the deployment process.
  
  

Qualifications

About You:

• Strong background in Jenkins Administration and other CI/CD tools. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, or equivalent cloud/DevOps tech is a plus.
• Solid coding skills (e.g., Python, Node.js) and a solid grasp of version control (Git).
• 3+ years of experience in maintaining and managing a production Jenkins environment.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or similar cloud providers. Strong understanding of IaC principles.
• Experience of Automating Infrastructure deployment
• Demonstrate hands on working knowledge with AWS and its services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Python and Aurora
• Experience in Software-Defined-Networks, Software-Defined-Data-Centers, Virtual Private Clouds and other core network technology
• Experienced with DevOps & ITIL.
