Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Network Architect/Engineer with extensive experience in network architecture and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing LAN and WAN solutions, with a focus on Cisco technologies and a background in telecommunications (Telco).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance network architectures for LAN and WAN.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Configure and manage Cisco switches and routers to ensure optimal network performance and reliability.
• Conduct network assessments and provide recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Develop documentation for network architecture, configurations, and best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of professional experience in network architecture and engineering.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing LAN and WAN solutions.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Cisco switches and routers.
• Background in telecommunications (Teclo) preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a hybrid environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with network security protocols and practices.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) are a plus.
