Morgan McKinley is delighted to partner with a leading financial services organisation in the search for a HR Associate. This is a fantastic opportunity for a HR professional with proven experience in the financial services industry to join a dynamic, fast-paced environment where career progression and people-first practices are at the core of the business.


We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of the regulatory and operational nuances of financial services, who is ready to take the next step in their HR career and support an evolving HR function.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, offering professional advice aligned with financial services best practices and policies.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a seamless experience within a regulated environment.
  • Support and manage employee leave processes, including maternity/paternity, long-term sick leave, and other statutory leaves.
  • Coordinate performance management cycles, providing guidance and reporting insights to HR leadership.
  • Partner with internal recruitment teams to support high-volume or niche hiring, mobility, and relocation efforts across the organisation.
  • Assist in the delivery and coordination of learning and development initiatives, with a focus on upskilling in compliance and risk-sensitive areas.
  • Contribute to HR projects such as salary and bonus reviews, promotions, workforce planning, and employee engagement programmes.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of HR processes with a focus on compliance, data integrity, and operational excellence.
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and ensure compliance with both company and financial sector-specific regulations.
  • Key Requirements:

    • 3-4 years' experience in a HR generalist or HR associate-level role
    • Financial services industry experience is essential
    • Strong working knowledge of HRIS systems, particularly Workday (essential)
    • Available for immediate start
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information professionally
    • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a highly regulated environment
