Senior Java Software Engineer - relocation Spain

We are looking for a highly experienced Java Senior Developer to join our team! 🔍 What you'll do:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of back-end solutions using Java (8 and 11), Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud Stream.

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable microservice architectures.

• Manage and optimize system integration through Kafka and other event-driven systems.

• Supervise and optimize the use of databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Redis.

• Ensure continuous integration using tools like Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and SonarQube.

• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of applications on servers and containers like Websphere and Openshift.

• Guide the team in adopting best practices for unit testing with JUnit, Mockito, and Postman.

• Work closely with product and architecture teams to design high-performance technological solutions aligned with business goals.

🧠 We’re looking for someone like you if:

• You have 5+ years of experience as a Java Developer, with deep knowledge of Java (8 and 11) and frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud Stream.

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing microservices and event-driven architectures, using tools like Kafka.

• Advanced knowledge in managing databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Redis.

• Experience in continuous integration with tools like Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and SonarQube.

• Experience in managing applications in environments like Websphere and Openshift.

• Mastery of best practices in unit and integration testing with tools like JUnit, Mockito, and Postman.

• Strong technical communication skills in English (B2-C1).

• Ability to lead projects, mentor junior teams, and make key decisions on system architecture and design.

✅ What you bring to the table:

• 5+ years of experience in back-end development with Java.

• Deep knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud Stream, as well as microservices and Kafka.

• Extensive experience in implementing solutions with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Redis.

• Advanced knowledge of continuous integration tools and containers like Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Websphere, and Openshift.

• Ability to lead teams, design technical solutions, and optimize application performance.

• If you have additional experience in Python, cloud computing (Azure, AWS), or knowledge of financial products, it will be highly valued!
