Systems Engineer – ROS 2 Mobile Robotics for Smart Logistics

Embedded Systems | ROS 2 | Autonomous Robots & Smart Infrastructure | Mid-Senior level (3+ years)

We are seeking a Systems Engineer on behalf of one of our clients to join their team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of ROS 2–based robotic systems for warehouse automation and last-mile delivery. You’ll work at the intersection of real-time control, navigation, and system integration—helping to bring safe, autonomous mobility into industrial environments.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and integrate ROS 2 robotic systems for mobile logistics and warehouse automation platforms.
• Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to design control interfaces and real-time operations.
• Design and validate navigation, obstacle avoidance, and mapping algorithms using ROS 2 packages.
• Assist in testing and deployment in both simulated and live warehouse environments.
• Contribute to system diagnostics, OTA updates, and robust error handling.

You Bring

• 3+ years of experience with embedded systems or robotic system integration.
• Solid knowledge of ROS 2, including nodes, launch files, and middleware.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python for robotic applications.
• Experience with embedded Linux and RTOS environments.
• Familiarity with hardware interfaces: motor controllers, LIDARs, IMUs, etc.

Nice to have:

• Experience in industrial automation, logistics robotics, or AGVs.
• Familiarity with SLAM, Gazebo simulation, or MoveIt.
• Background in safety or failover systems for robotics.
