The Role:

We're seeking an QA Engineer to enhance our mobile engineering team's efforts in delivering a high-quality, high-performing, scalable product that is built in Flutter

You will ensure the delivery of a high-quality, robust mobile app product by thouroughly testing every aspect as we release new features and functionality. This role is a manual position with the opportunity to progress your career into the QA automation arena.

You will collaborate across the engineering, product, and design teams, maintaining high standards and a passion for continuous improvements.

What You’ll do:

• Build an in-depth understanding of Buenro's products, constructively analyzing user cases, and designing and executing comprehensive manual test scripts and test plans to evaluate product quality, stability, and performance.
• Identify inconsistencies between App and Figma files. (Visual and functional)
• Identification and detailed reporting of bugs and defects, contributing to the enhancement of product quality.
• Thorough documentation of test plans and test cases to ensure clarity and traceability throughout the testing process.
• Collaborate and communicate with product managers, engineers, mobile developers, and management on identifying outcomes and results.
• Continuously improve the manual testing process and coverage by researching and implementing new tools and techniques.
• Design and document detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements
• Multi Device testing to ensure consistency across different end devices
• Align QA processes across iOS and Android
• Conduct manual exploratory testing and define release checklists
  
  
  

Our Stack:

• The mobile app is built on Flutter with BLoC.
• Backend: NestJS and MongoDB with Prisma, Terraform + GH Actions to deploy on AWS ECS
• Data Science: Python and MongoDB, Terraform + GH Actions to deploy on AWS Lambda
• Frontend: NextJS + sass/tailwind + gsap, with CI/CD via Vercel
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• c3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer working in a product development environment, with eagerness to learn and pick up new tasks.
• Experience of testing mobile apps on iOS and Android
• Ability to design QA strategies, write test cases and user case scenarios
• Regression and sanity testing experience as well as UI design/figma
• Understanding of SDLC and product development
• Knowledge of agile, scrum, kanban methodologies
• Excellent coordination across all of engineering and product teams
• Excellent communication skills verbal and written in English
  
  
  

Some nice to have experience:

• Mobile app testing with Flutter
• Understanding of App Store & Play Store QA requirements
• Knowledge of tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or Google Sheets
• Familiarity with Jira, Confuence, Git
• Experience of scripting
