Senior Analyst - Business Architecture (TOGAF Certified)

We are looking to hire a Senior Analyst – Business Architecture who will be responsible for developing & maintaining business architecture models that support the organization’s strategic goals. This role analyzes business capabilities & processes to guide transformation initiatives and support successful project delivery for our client based in Dubai, UAE – one of the largest semi-government entities in the region.

This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable.

The role sits within the Enterprise Architecture unit and reports directly to the Senior Manager – Enterprise Architecture.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and model business capabilities, processes, and value streams aligned with strategic goals
• Translate business strategy into architectural roadmaps and target models.
• Review and maintain business design artefacts using tools like ADOIT, ADONIS, Confluence.
• Lead business architecture input on transformation initiatives and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Conduct capability assessments and recommend improvements to support business and technology changes.
• Maintain governance and quality across architecture artefacts and ensure traceability in project delivery.

Knowledge, skills & experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in IT or related domains with minimum 5 years of specialized experience in business architecture, capability modeling, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience with Business Capability Models and TOGAF.
• Hands-on experience using EA repositories (e.g., IBM System Architect, BOC ADONIS, ADOIT).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional discussions and influence stakeholders using logic and facts.
• Certification in TOGAF (Open Group Architecture Framework) is mandatory.
• Certificates such as CBA/BPMN/PMP/CSM/Lean Six Sigma/CISSP/CBAP is preferred.
