Information Technology Project Manager

Location: Riga (on-site, after probation period hybrid)

Our client company's mission is to assist organizations in swiftly and efficiently developing financial, blockchain, and high-load projects, and they couldn’t do this without hiring the best people.

They are currently looking for a highly motivated, proactive, and experienced IT Project Manager who can oversee all aspects of the project: preparing tasks, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring and summarizing project progress, and reporting to senior management on project status.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/suppliers involved to ensure the smooth execution of multiple projects.
• Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
• Establish and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Prepare, prioritize, and assign tasks for the development team, ensuring clear requirements and deadlines for efficient execution.
• Oversee and coordinate software releases, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of updates, bug fixes, and new features.
• Evaluate performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques.
• Report to management on project progress and escalate solutions to the management level as required.
• Perform risk management throughout the project to mitigate potential risks.
• Ensure availability and allocation of resources.
• Assist in defining project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Establish new and maintain existing relationships with third parties/suppliers.

WHAT THEY ARE EXPECTING:

• Ability to creatively solve various issues.
• Good knowledge of project management software tools such as Confluence Wiki, Jira, Waterfall/Agile methodology, and Scrum approach.
• Successful previous work experience as an IT Project Manager.
• Ability to maintain precision in task execution and ensure adherence to established procedures and workflows.
• Experience in delivering a variety of projects across the lifecycle.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Strength to work in a stressful and dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to complete projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of successful previous experience in IT project management and related field.
• Experience in the financial technology industry and startups would be an advantage.
• English, Latvian and Russian knowledge.
