We are looking for a meticulous and technically skilled QA Automation Engineer to ensure our complex systems and user-facing applications are reliable, secure, and performant.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive automated test suites covering our backend services and our front-end React applications.
• Perform thorough testing across the full spectrum of QA, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
• Create and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications.
• Test complex backend APIs for functionality, reliability, performance, and security.
• Validate front-end user interfaces built with React, ensuring they are bug-free, user-friendly, and visually polished across different browsers and devices.
• Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution using bug-tracking systems like Jira.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to ensure a deep understanding of the product and to foster a culture of quality.
• Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality feedback.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or Test Engineer in a professional software development environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with front-end testing frameworks, specifically for React applications. Proficiency with tools like Cypress, Playwright, Jest, or React Testing Library is essential.
• Solid experience with backend and API testing. Proficiency with tools like Postman, or scripting API tests in code.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6) is a significant plus.
• Strong programming/scripting skills, preferably in JavaScript or TypeScript, to write robust and maintainable automated tests.
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• An analytical mindset with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for finding elusive bugs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team.
