Senior .NET Developer – Asset Management Firm

An established asset manager is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join its growing technology team. This is a hands-on development role focused on building robust systems and enhancing trading and middle-office platforms. The successful candidate will work on complex back-end services and internal tools that underpin the firm's investment strategies.

While deep domain expertise is not essential, prior experience working in financial services, particularly in a trading environment, will be viewed favourably.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver scalable and maintainable .NET-based applications in a high-performance environment.
• Contribute to architecture and design discussions from an engineering-first perspective.
• Ensure adherence to strong development processes including test-driven development (TDD) and DevOps best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including quant, operations, and infrastructure.
• Depending on performance, may take on leadership responsibility for the offshore .NET team.

Salary Range: Up to $230,000 base + Bonus

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with C#/.NET Core.
• Solid grounding in software engineering principles, clean code, and refactoring.
• Proven track record of working within agile development environments.
• Exposure to cloud services (preferably Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of TDD and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience in a trading, asset management, or financial services setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
