Artificial Intelligence Engineer

The Applied Research Engineer will drive the development and implementation of advanced AI/ML algorithms for financial crime detection and compliance. This role acts as a bridge between AI research and production deployment, focusing on building scalable, compliant, and explainable AI solutions.

About the Role:

• AI/ML R&D: Develop and optimize machine learning models (e.g., deep learning, graph-based AI) for fraud detection and risk management.
• Algorithm Innovation: Enhance model performance through advanced feature engineering, federated learning, and real-time inference optimization.
• Deployment: Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize models and build scalable AI pipelines.
• Data Handling: Analyze and process large-scale structured/unstructured financial data for model training.
• Compliance & Ethics: Ensure models are ethical, interpretable, and aligned with regulatory standards.

About the Requirements:

• Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in CS, AI, ML, or related field.
• Experience: 6+ years in applied AI/ML; experience in fraud detection or financial compliance preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, NLP, time-series, XAI, and cloud/big data tools.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and the ability to apply research in real-world settings.
