Job Title: Java and Actimize Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Java and Actimize Developer to join a leading banking client in Zurich. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development along with hands-on experience in Actimize platforms for financial crime and compliance. You will play a crucial role in developing, customizing, and supporting Actimize-based solutions while ensuring adherence to banking standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance Java-based components integrated with Actimize platforms (RCM, AIS, SAM, CDD, etc.).
• Customize and configure Actimize modules to meet business and regulatory needs.
• Collaborate with business analysts and compliance teams to gather and analyze technical requirements.
• Design and implement data integration processes, ETL jobs, and interfaces for Actimize.
• Optimize and troubleshoot performance issues in Java and Actimize components.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including testing, deployment, and support.
• Ensure timely delivery of solutions within agile frameworks or waterfall models depending on project requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation and provide user support where needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Java development with a strong focus on backend integration and services.
• 3+ years of experience working with Actimize products (RCM, SAM, CDD, etc.).
• Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL scripting.
• Experience with XML, XSLT, REST/SOAP APIs, and ETL tools.
• Familiarity with financial crime detection, AML, and regulatory compliance frameworks in banking.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a banking or financial services environment in Switzerland or the EU.
• Familiarity with Actimize customization tools such as ActOne Designer or Modeler.
• Understanding of local and international compliance regulations (e.g., FINMA, AMLA, GDPR).
