Chief Technology Officer

A high-growth technology company operating across data-centric services, platform architecture, and regulated markets is conducting a looking for a CTO

This executive leader will be responsible for shaping, implementing, and scaling a robust cybersecurity strategy across products, infrastructure, and customer-facing services, aligning with international compliance frameworks and high-growth operating demands.

Key Responsibilities:

Cybersecurity Strategy & Governance

• Define and execute a proactive cybersecurity roadmap aligned with product expansion and investor expectations.
• Oversee the implementation of enterprise-wide security architecture, including cloud, data, identity, and product-level security.

Compliance & Regulatory Alignment

• Lead the organization’s compliance efforts across ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, NIS2, and other relevant standards.
• Partner with legal, finance, and commercial teams to ensure customer trust and contractual compliance.

Security Operations

• Build and lead a high-performing security function (SecOps, GRC, AppSec).
• Own incident response, vulnerability management, threat detection, and mitigation protocols.
• Drive automation and scalability in security tooling and DevSecOps practices.

Leadership & Influence

• Act as the internal and external face of cybersecurity across board, investor, and client interactions.
• Influence engineering, product, and commercial roadmaps with a security-first mindset.
• Foster a security culture across all teams through enablement and communication.

Profile:

• Executive-level experience as a CISO, VP Security, or Head of Cybersecurity in a scalable tech environment.
• Strong technical foundation across cloud security (AWS/GCP/Azure), DevSecOps, identity & access management, and security architecture.
• Familiarity with working in regulated or high-trust sectors (healthtech, fintech, govtech).
• Experience reporting to board/investors and leading compliance audits.
• Hands-on leader able to scale a security function from early growth to maturity.
• Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus.
