🟣Project Description

You will be working within the IB Client Platform Stream and working closely with colleagues in London, Switzerland, India, and the US, including T-shaped engineers. The team is responsible for providing the key AI platforms needed by the Investment Bank, Wealth Management and other global Divisions, including both classical ML with high-throughput (3m+ monthly) low-latency email classification services, as well as LLM inference and chatbots

🟣Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced SRE engineer to join the IB Client Platform Stream Crew to:

• As an SRE, you will need to drive deeper reliability to systems in production systems and help IT, support and development teams spend less time working on escalations, and give them more time to build new features and services.

• As an L3, you will need to have a deep understanding of the environment, code, logs and handle most of the support escalations to the development team.

• Handling of critical issues, incident management, change management, monitoring, environment management and business continuity

• Analyse, document and interrogate system issues from both a business and a technology perspective.

• Suggest and drive forward resolution for system issues.

• Continuously come up with new solutions and implement system improvements as well as automate manual work.

• Partnership with stakeholders across various business and technology units, including Product Managers, Developers, Quality Analysts, and Support Teams, to ensure successful delivery and onboarding of Technology projects.

• Provide effective updates to the various managers of the group

• Performing technical support fixes - development, script writing (mostly DevOps)

• Investigating Problems to find workarounds and root cause

• Creating Known Error documents for Problems

• Taking lifecycle ownership for Problems

• Provide daily system monitoring, production issue troubleshooting, end user issue resolutions.

• Support and configure production environments for the global infrastructure.

• Provide release management for UAT and Production environments.

• Document support processes, releases, and troubleshooting guide in coordination with the other teams.

• If needed, the candidate must be ready to Provide Coverage during weekdays and weekends.

🟣Skills

What is relevant to have

• 3+ yrs of programming with at least one of Python, JavaScript, or Java

• 3+ yrs of DevOps experience building and troubleshooting pipelines

• Automation Experience using Python or any scripting language.

• Unix admin knowledge is a must.

• Must be familiar with the ITIL process.

• Must have experience in ServiceNow.

• Experience with Azure Log Analytics and KQL or Splunk tool.

• Implementation experience with any Monitoring Solutions

• Must have Exposure to Git and preferably GitLab

• Must have worked L2/L3 Application support or Infrastructure support experience. (might be long in the past)

• Experience working with containers and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

• Very strong working experience on the Azure Platform.

• Proven ability to deploy whole enterprise-level applications using own Infrastructure as Code
