Position: Data Scientist

Location: Kraków, Poland (Hybrid: 2-3 days/week in office)

Type: Full-time

Start Date: Flexible – ideally Q3 2025

🛠️ What You’ll Do

• Develop, deploy, and maintain predictive models and machine learning pipelines
• Collaborate across Product, Engineering, and Business teams to understand and tackle complex challenges
• Translate data into actionable insights using statistical and ML techniques
• Work on time series analysis, forecasting, and anomaly detection
• Contribute to NorthGravity’s proprietary data platforms and analytics products
• Mentor interns and junior team members

🎯 What We’re Looking For

• 2–3+ years of professional experience in data science or machine learning
• Strong Python programming skills with proven experience in the data science stack (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, XGBoost)
• Hands-on experience with time series forecasting, model deployment, and performance optimization
• Exposure to deep learning techniques (e.g., LSTM, transformers) is a plus
• Familiarity with cloud-based environments (AWS preferred), Docker, and CI/CD workflows
• Experience with smart search, recommender systems, or chatbot development is a bonus
• Strong communication skills in English
• A curious, proactive mindset and passion for solving meaningful problems
