Are you an experienced Tech Java Lead / Senior Java Developer looking to take the next step and lead in architecture as well, growing into a Solution Architect role? Then this opportunity is for you. We have deployed several High-Performance teams at this client. In one of these teams, there is now space for a Lead/Solution Architect. You will both contribute as a team member and set the technical direction for the team, guiding them to successfully realize the architecture. Additionally, you will become part of the Solution Architects team.

As a Solution Architect, you will work within project teams or on account-related assignments. You will be responsible for end-to-end solution designs, solution technologies, and applications spanning multiple internal and external IT systems. You will also work across various application and cloud architecture domains.

You will analyze, document, and communicate the complete application architecture for a particular domain. You will ensure technical quality by participating in the architecture governance and technical design processes, working closely with the client and other key stakeholders. You should also have the ability to build long-term relationships with all involved parties and work effectively within an Agile environment.

Where Will You Work?

You will be part of company's architecture team, collaborating with many technical and innovative colleagues. This dynamic position offers significant room for growth and development. The company has a large architecture team of approximately 400 architects, in which you will actively participate and contribute to knowledge sharing and collaboration with solution managers, solution architects, and other architects.

What Do You Bring?

• You have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• You have relevant and up-to-date knowledge of Cloud Technology, Containerization, and (open source) Software Development.
• You are capable of advising clients on solutions, technologies, package selection, and implementation strategies.
• Demonstrable experience within the CNCF API management landscape and a background in solution technologies such as Springboot/Quarkus, Kafka, CI/CD, Open Source, and setting standards.
• Proven experience working within Agile teams.
• Preferably, experience working on and presenting client proposals.
• Skills such as analytical ability, excellent communication, proactiveness, and leadership.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
