Position Title: Application / Software Manager

About the Client:

A large multinational company based in Sharjah, specializing in defense, smart city solutions, and cybersecurity engineering services.

Job Description:

• Manage system updates, change requests, and operational support in coordination with SRTA, STEE AD, remote teams, and vendors related to software
• Lead and coordinate Java-based backend development and change requests.
• Manage ongoing support, patches, and troubleshooting for existing applications.
• Assist in testing and deployment of software updates and enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years experience in IT project coordination, Java backend system management, or managed services.
• Proficient in Oracle DB and WebLogic with experience in leading software development teams and coordinating software updates.
• Must have valid UAE Driving License
