Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact projects within the department of Quality, Patient Safety & Innovation. This role ensures that all project components, from scope definition to final execution, are aligned with organizational goals, delivered on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards. The Project Manager will also provide administrative and operational support to the Executive Director, ensuring high standards of service delivery and confidentiality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Leadership & Execution

Define clear project scopes, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with key stakeholders.

Plan, manage, and allocate project resources effectively to optimize productivity and avoid execution bottlenecks.

Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring responsibilities are clearly defined and appropriately delegated.

Develop detailed project timelines, objectives, and milestones to track progress and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Regularly monitor, evaluate, and report on project performance, timelines, budgets, and deliverables to stakeholders.

Adapt plans and schedules proactively to accommodate changing priorities, risks, or unforeseen challenges.

Stakeholder Communication & Engagement

Act as the primary point of contact between project teams, leadership, and external stakeholders.

Ensure timely and consistent communication to keep all parties informed and engaged.

Facilitate collaboration across departments to resolve conflicts and achieve common objectives.

Risk & Issue Management

Identify potential project risks early, assess their impact, and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.

Troubleshoot challenges proactively and implement solutions to minimize disruption.

Maintain comprehensive project documentation and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Executive & Administrative Support

Provide efficient administrative and office management support to the Executive Director.

Manage scheduling, documentation, and coordination to ensure executive functions run efficiently.

Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive or proprietary information at all times.

Additional Responsibilities

Undertake other duties or responsibilities as may be assigned by the Executive Director or leadership team.

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the department and organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Healthcare Management, or a related field.

PhD is preferred but not required.

Advanced certifications in Project Management such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Experience & Knowledge Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 7 years in project management roles.

Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects, preferably within healthcare, quality management, or innovation settings.

Strong knowledge of project/program management tools, techniques, and methodologies.

Experience in generating, maintaining, and analyzing project documentation and reports.

Familiarity with healthcare regulatory and quality improvement frameworks is a plus.
