Frontend Engineer – Remote India

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain responsive, accessible single-page applications with React, TypeScript, and modern CSS.
  • Translate Figma/Storybook designs into reusable components, ensuring cross-browser fidelity and 60fps interactions.
    • Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, handle client-side state (Redux/Context), and optimise bundle size and load performance (Lighthouse
  • Automate quality with Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress, driving 80%+ unit and e2e coverage.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, and Backend engineers in Agile sprints, providing technical guidance and code reviews.
  • Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and error tracking to guarantee 99.9% frontend availability.

    • Skills & Qualifications

    Must-Have

    • 3+ years professional frontend development with React and TypeScript.
    • Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid), and ES6+ JavaScript.
    • Hands-on experience consuming RESTful services and WebSockets.
    • Performance tuning using Webpack/Vite, code-splitting, and lazy-loading.
    • Proficiency with Git workflows, pull-request reviews, and automated testing.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in remote Agile teams.

    Preferred

    • Exposure to Next.js, SSR, or static site generation.
    • Knowledge of design systems and component libraries (Material UI, Chakra).
    • Familiarity with AWS Amplify, S3, or CloudFront for frontend hosting.
    • Experience implementing internationalisation and A/B experimentation.
