Senior Back End Developer

Overview:

We’re on the lookout for a skilled backend engineer with deep Go development experience to join a tech company.

Your Role:

• Architect, implement, and maintain backend applications and APIs using Golang.
• Participate in designing backend structures for high availability and performance.
• Build and integrate RESTful or gRPC-based services that work seamlessly with front-end teams.
• Tackle performance challenges and proactively resolve system inefficiencies.
• Define and improve data models to support fast and reliable data access.
• Write robust unit and integration tests to safeguard code quality.
• Drive improvements to codebase, development process, and system architecture.

Who You Are:

• Hold a degree in Computer Science or have equivalent practical experience.
• Have 5+ years working in backend development, with 2+ years using Go in production.
• Strong grasp of goroutines, channels, and Go’s concurrency tools.
• Comfortable designing microservice architectures and working in distributed systems.
• Experienced with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (Redis, MongoDB) databases.
• Know your way around Docker, Linux systems, and message queues like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Bonus if you’ve touched on Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), or observability stacks like Prometheus or Grafana.
• A plus: multi-language experience (e.g. Python, Java, Rust).
