A growing Managed Service Provider in Melbourne's Inner North-West requires a Senior Network Engineer for a permanent opportunity commencing immediately. Your new role
Within this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and maintaining a wide range of network and security technologies to ensure their optimal operation.
• Implementing customer-requested changes and working as a part of the project team when implementing major changes to a customer's services.
• Performing physical and logical network deployments and migrations.
• Acting as the escalation point for network-related outages.
• Performing based hypervisor management.
• Providing training and guidance to front-line technical support staff.
• Provisioning of telco services, including wholesale VoIP and internet services.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience managing and maintaining systems, cloud, network & security infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Cisco / Unifi / Fortinet / Draytek routing & switching, Fortinet / Palo Alto firewalls, Ruckus / Cisco / Aruba Wi-Fi and MPLS / SD-WAN.
• Experience with Azure, Windows Server, Veeam, VMware / Hyper-V, Kaseya / Ninja RMM and Halo / ConnectWise PSA is highly desirable.
• Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• A tertiary education in Information Technology as well as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto and Aruba certifications are preferred.
• Previous experience working for an MSP or Consultancy.
• A valid driver's licence.
