Your new role

You'll be part of a professional operations team focused on maintaining secure, reliable, and available ICT platforms. The team supports both cloud and on-premises environments and values collaboration and continuous improvement.

• Develop, operate, and maintain network infrastructure environments to meet support standards.
• Deliver services using Cisco technologies and integrate with COTS products (e.g., Fortinet, DWDM, Umbrella).
• Support and uplift Essential 8 principles within the operating environment.
• Provide expert engineering guidance across technology domains.
• Monitor and manage third-party network service providers.
• Troubleshoot and support within a software-defined network framework.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures for network environments.

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong background in Cisco networking.
• Willingness to grow skills in Microsoft Azure Cloud networking services.
• Solid understanding of security-first practices in ICT.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and work independently.
• Canberra, ACT-based candidates only, due to the collaborative and interactive nature of the role.
• Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold a minimum NV1 security clearance. Candidates without the required clearance will not be considered.
