Project Portfolio Manager

We are looking for a dedicated and structured professional to strengthen our project management practices and help raise project execution to the next level. In this role, you will oversee the full project portfolio, support Project Managers in achieving operational excellence, and ensure consistency across all project management practices. You will be a key driver of our Project Management Office (PMO) function and a champion of continuous improvement & positive change.

You will be in charge of:

• Supervise, monitor & perform the audits for the assigned portfolio of projects
• Support Project Managers in controlling project budgets, timelines, risks, quality, and other KPIs
• Maintain and strengthen project management standards, tools, and rhythms
• Lead and contribute to continuous improvement programs (Operational Excellence / Lean)
• Build a strong community of Project Managers, sharing the best practices and supporting team development.

We expect You:

• Solid successful work experience in project management at a managerial position in the ship building, ship repair, construction, renovation or fit-out industry.
• Experience in PMO or project portfolio management, as well as PMP®, PRINCE2®, IPMA® and lean certificates are considered as an advantage.
• Willingness and ability to conduct on-site project visits abroad (Europe and further abroad)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across multiple teams and functions

Salary:

3000 €/mon. net.

Specific salary will be discussed individually, depending on experience, competence, and compliance with other requirements of the position.
