Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for managing a global implementation of corporate card project and process within 2025. The expected scope of the project is 62 countries with 40k+ card holders.

You will ensure that all related activities, including change management, will be performed in accordance with project goals and ABB policies pursuing high quality standards. You will be working together with a cross functional team(s) from T&E Corporate Card Team, T&E Front Office, Card Issuer (supplier), Finance, IT, HR and Sourcing.

The role is a 12-months contract. The work model for the role is: hybrid

The role is open globally, but location is set in ABB Office within European time zone - with a preference for Finland and Poland - or in India (Bangalore).

You will be mainly accountable for:

Lead the project team, establish the project execution approach & targets, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders including to CxO roles

Ensure that all stakeholders are aware of the project targets, benefits and know what and when is required from them

Act as the key contact for the project and an escalation point for issues.

Monitor and control project financials, overseeing project cost and expenses

Monitor and control project progress effectively and ensures effective resource utilization

Identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risks and ensure all opportunities are identified and pursued

Ensure adherence to all internal and statutory regulations and policies pertaining to the teams and work in scope

Identify and plan all document deliverables required by the scope of work and incorporates this plan into the overall project plan/schedule

Support in defining, conceptualizing and communicating the required process changes in global and country level

Support Sourcing in supplier negotiations, claims, and project changes

Support in effective handover to operational teams and in ensuring that a stable, seamless post project operations are established


Qualifications For The Role

• 10+ years of professional experience in global environment including leadership positions, preferably in Finance or Shared Services
• 5+ years of experience in managing complex projects and transformations
• Strong stakeholder management experience and demonstrated ability to interact with different levels of stakeholders
• Experience with Corporate Card programs, Finance or T&E a significant plus
• Experience in managing projects with a strong IT dependency a plus
• Ability to work independently with positive “can do” attitude, solution-focused approach and hands-on working style
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
• Collaborative mindset in a multicultural environment
• Customer focus and problem-solving skills
• Ability to liaise with operational teams, translating complex problems into actionable operational actions
• A degree in Finance, Business Management or other relevant field
• Fluent English, other languages are a plus
