YourCode Recruitment Group have recently partnered with an established Engineering firm, founded over 40 years ago who are looking for an Embedded Software Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in C++, Linux, and embedded systems. These are high tech systems with engineering and quality at the heart of it.

The position is full-time and hybrid. In terms of the hybrid model it varies on a weekly basis. They are unable to work fully remote due to the size of some of their systems but for a couple of weeks at a time you may be able to work from home, whereas in some occasions you might need to be in the office for a full week depending on the project.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test embedded software applications.
• Work with hardware engineers to integrate software with hardware.
• Debug and troubleshoot software problems.
• Work on a team to develop and maintain software

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in C++.
• Experience with Linux for Embedded Development
• Ideally some experience with Python for testing
• Any network and security experience would be desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
