We’re supporting a well-established UK promotional merchandise business as they look to hire a Web Developer to strengthen their in-house digital team.
This role offers hands-on exposure to Laravel-based applications, front-end development, and WordPress projects, working closely with designers and senior developers in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel
- Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Support new features, enhancements, and bug fixes
- Ensure cross-browser and mobile compatibility
- Collaborate with designers and developers to meet project deadlines
- Contribute to code quality, reviews, and best practices
Key skills
- Laravel framework experience
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- WordPress experience
- Git/version control
- Basic MySQL knowledge
- Responsive design (Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Nice to have
- Vue, React, or other JS frameworks
- API / REST experience
