Our challenge:
We are looking for a Project Manager to support a cross-functional initiative focused on digital accessibility remediation. This role will serve as the primary liaison between the third-party agency conducting the audit, the internal development and QA teams, and senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in coordinating technical web projects within a CMS environment.
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the central point of contact across all parties involved in the accessibility remediation initiative.
- Facilitate project planning, prioritization, issue resolution and team coordination
- Track remediation progress against timelines, dependencies, and milestones.
- Facilitate regular status meetings and working sessions between:
- The external audit agency
- Internal developer(s) making CMS updates
- Internal QA resources validating fixes
- Escalate blockers, risks, or scope changes to leadership as needed.
- Ensure deliverables are aligned with WCAG 2.1 AA standards and project goals.
- Prepare and deliver weekly or biweekly updates to senior management on project status, risks, and next steps.
- Document decisions, process updates, and action items.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years’ experience in project coordination or project management, preferably in digital/web projects
- Experience working with or managing third-party vendors
- Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and digital compliance projects
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience tracking project tasks using tools like Jira, Asana, or MS Project
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred, but not required:
- Experience in enterprise CMS environments (e.g., TeamSite, AEM, Sitecore)
- Understanding of front-end development processes and QA workflows
- Previous experience with accessibility remediation or audit-driven projects
