Our client is a major player in the Bunkering Energy market, looking to expand their crewing team with an addition of a Crewing Executive with strong experience in Bunkering / Tanker experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing end-to-end recruitment of ratings, officers, and crew members in compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and commercial needs, in consultation with Managers.
- Ensuring vessels are manned according to safe manning regulations, with appropriately certified and experienced seafarers as per STCW requirements.
- Preparing Seafarers' Employment Agreements (SEA) in line with approved wage scales, and conduct briefings to explain SEA terms, company policies, and operational procedures.
- Administering all employment-related tasks including payroll processing, tax computation, and statutory contributions, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
- Applying for Flag State documents and work passes for crew members.
- Organizing and overseeing crew movements such as sign-on/sign-off and crew transfers (including for new vessels).
- Arranging medical appointments and coordinate shore leave for crew members.
- Conducting crew briefings and debriefings as needed.
- Monitoring and tracking seafarers’ readiness for upcoming assignments, including verification and renewal of certificates, qualifications, and documentation.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of training, certification, qualifications, and sea service experience.
- Managing and updating monthly crew matrix, including support for crew appraisals.
- Handling the issuance and inventory management of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all crew.
- Managing crew insurance claims and assist in planning and booking of training programs.
- Checking, verifying, and reconciling monthly accounts submitted by ship Masters.
- Coordinating and arranging timely Cash-To-Master (CTM) deliveries when required.
- Ensuring digital port processes are properly managed and compliant with applicable port regulations.
- Inputting billing information into the IPR system accurately.
Job Requirements:
- Possess at least Diploma in Maritime Studies / Marine Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Crewing with tanker or bunkering company knowledge preferred
- Meticulous, pro-active with positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good interpersonal skills and able to work well with others in a fast-paced working environment
- Knowledge of Mandatory STCW certifications, Seafarers’ employment, MLC and Flag State requirement
- Energetic, resilient and resourceful, with an ability to work accurately under pressure
