Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and troubleshoot IBM PowerSystems IBMi.
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure in AWS using Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Engineer automated solutions, including CI/CD pipelines, to enhance software quality and delivery speed.
- Perform patch management, capacity planning, and disaster recovery testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements and best practices.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members and lead key infrastructure initiatives.
- Resolve production issues promptly and provide after-hours support as needed.
- 3 years of experience in AS/400 administration and troubleshooting.
- 2 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or IT Operations engineering.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong scripting skills in languages like Python or Bash.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools.
- Any relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus.
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry is advantageous.
