Job Title: Store Keeper cum Purchaser

Location: Oman

Range: 28 to 35 years

Salary: 300 OMR

Experience: Minimum 5 Years (Mandatory)

Industry: Construction / Facility Management / Industrial / Retail (customize as needed)

Reporting To: Procurement/Operations Manager

Job Responsibilities:

1. Store Management:

Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials.

Maintain inventory levels, update stock records accurately in system/manual.

Organize and store materials properly to ensure easy retrieval and avoid damage.

Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconcile with inventory records.

Prepare GRNs, Issue Slips, and coordinate with accounts for billing & verification.

Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance within the store area.

2. Purchasing Responsibilities:

Identify material requirements and raise purchase requests as per project/department needs.

Evaluate vendor quotations and negotiate for best prices, delivery timelines, and quality.

Issue purchase orders and follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.

Maintain updated records of purchases, pricing, and delivery status.

Coordinate with project/site teams for urgent procurement.

Track material usage and plan purchases to avoid stockouts or overstocking.

3. Coordination & Compliance:

Liaise with vendors, site teams, and transporters for smooth operations.

Maintain proper documentation of all procurement and store transactions.

Comply with internal SOPs and company policies.

Report stock levels, pending deliveries, and procurement status to the reporting manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as Storekeeper & Purchaser (Minimum 5 years).

Strong knowledge of inventory control and procurement practices.

Good negotiation and communication skills.

Familiarity with MS Office, inventory software, or ERP systems.

Ability to work independently and manage pressure.

Knowledge of local suppliers and market in Oman (preferred).

Language: English (mandatory), Arabic (optional but preferred)

Valid GCC driving license (preferred but not mandatory)
