Your assessment task entails the implementation of a custom helm chart that deploys your own nginx-ingress with custom variables.

Minimum Requirements:

* CI/CD Proficiency: Mastery of CI/CD pipelines using GitLabCI for continuous integration and deployment.

* Container Orchestration: Solid understanding and practical experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.

* Message Queue Handling: Familiarity with message brokers for asynchronous communication and message queuing.

* Database Management: Experience in managing MongoDB and MySQL databases for application data storage.

* Caching Solutions: Proficiency in configuring and utilizing Redis for caching in distributed systems.

* Monitoring and Logging: Basic knowledge of ELK stack for centralized logging and monitoring.

Additional Requirements:

* Metrics Collection and Alerting: Familiarity with Prometheus for metric collection and Thanos for long-term storage, along with setting up alerting rules.

* Service Mesh Implementation: Understanding of Istio for implementing service mesh architecture, including traffic management and security features.

* Infrastructure as Code: Experience with tools like Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.

* Scripting Skills: Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation and configuration management tasks.

Desired Qualifications:

* Azure Cloud Expertise: Familiarity with the Azure cloud platforms for managing cloud infrastructure.

* Advanced Monitoring: Proficiency in customizing and extending Prometheus for advanced monitoring requirements.

* Networking Expertise: Understanding of DNS configurations, load balancers, and networking principles.

* Containerization Skills: Understanding Docker fundamentals could complement knowledge of Kubernetes.

* Security Practices: Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps, including container security, network security, and access control.
