About Us:
As a part of our large Human Resources team in Riga, Tietoevry now build up a new central team for handling external consultant administration and purchasing. This team will work closely with local country experts and will run many different activities connected to administration and purchase of external subcontractors into our businesses and projects.
As External Consultant Specialist, you will work in a team of peers responsible for supporting our global function responsible for more than 1000 external consultants supporting our projects, businesses and customers. The work will be a combination of working with our suppliers and internal stakeholders, finding new consultants and running mini-competitions, negotiating terms and conditions, ensuring compliance, renewing and extending current assignments, maintaining data and systems and financial administration.
About You
You like to work in a large corporate company, enjoy a hectic work atmosphere, like speaking English all day, relating to colleagues in many different countries with different cultures and have a special talent for making good deals through creative bargaining and negotiations.
You thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You preferably have experience with procurement and negotiations and a keen eye for detail. You are proactive, resourceful and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
- Effectively coordinate and communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify, evaluate and nurture relationships with suppliers.
- Negotiating terms and conditions for external consultants with our suppliers
- Engage in agreement work, sometimes together with our Sourcing team
- Conduct comprehensive searches to source qualified candidates for various consulting roles.
- Negotiate competitive rates with suppliers and private entrepreneurs to secure cost-effective solutions.
- Manage external resources in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to established processes and procedures.
- Take initiative and full responsibility for your work
- Excellent communication skills: ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Negotiation experience and talent: terms & conditions, solve challenges with our suppliers
- Attention to detail: strong focus on accuracy and detail-oriented work.
- Process orientation: ability to adhere to established procedures and guidelines.
- Team collaboration: capable of working collaboratively within a team and independently.
- Driven and curious: a relentless drive to achieve results coupled with a curious mindset.
- Flexibility: willingness to learn new processes and embrace innovative ways of thinking.
- Language: fluent in English and Latvian, both oral and written
