Role and Responsibilities

Senior Project Manager – Strategy and Early-Stage Development of Cooking Appliances

Location: Hisense Europe HQ Velenje / Hybrid Work

Department: Product Planning – Cooking Appliances

At Hisense Europe, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead strategically important projects in the early stages of developing major home appliances – primarily cooking appliances (e.g., ovens, cooktops). This is a critical phase where there are no final specifications yet, but many open questions, possibilities, and a strong need for collaboration.

Your task will be to connect the right people, structure the path forward, and enable an idea to evolve into a clear, feasible concept with proven business value.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead the early-stage development of new products – from identifying needs to confirming business viability
• Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to guide product development strategy
• Facilitate collaboration across departments (R&D, design, quality, manufacturing, sales, etc.)
• Ensure a structured yet flexible process of exploration and decision-making within cross-functional teams
• Regularly report to leadership on progress, risks, and key milestones
• Prepare the foundation for transitioning the project into the industrialization phase
• Maintaining project documentation

What you bring:

• Experience managing complex projects, especially in early development phases
• Ability to think strategically while maintaining execution focus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in moderating, facilitating, and guiding cross-functional teams
• Fluent English (Slovenian or other languages are a plus)
