Function Description: Risant Health’s Integration Management and Performance (IMP) team, headed by the Leader of Integration Management and Performance, is responsible for supporting the integration of new organizations into Risant Health and realizing value creation opportunities across Risant affiliated organizations, including synergies, Definitive Agreement (DA) commitments, and Communities of Practice. The successful integration of Risant Health and new organizations, paired with the successful realization of value creation opportunities, is a strategic imperative for Risant Health, including expanding the affordability and quality of care to members across the country while simultaneously fueling growth.


Position Overview:

Reporting directly to a Program Manager within the IMP team, the IMP Project Manager will support integration planning, execution, and synergy realization efforts across Risant Health affiliates. This role is essential to achieving Risant Health's strategic goals by ensuring consistent risk management, leveraging scale, and fostering collaboration across affiliates.


The Project Manager partners with executives and key cross-functional teams to lead strategic and integration initiatives, and value realization projects. Success in this role requires strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Core project / leader management: Coordinate and partner with key internal and external stakeholders and leadership, lead and coordinate integration and value realization initiatives by developing detailed work plans, facilitating cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely execution. Manage end-to-end project lifecycles, prepare reports and updates, and support data gathering and analysis, research, and best practice identification. Provide ad-hoc project support for synergy tracking, Definitive Agreement commitments, and Community of Practice engagement and meetings. Record and escalate risks to Program Manager and Leader of Integration Management and Performance, test assumptions and findings.
  • Timeline and risk management: Maintain and monitor workplans and progress across assigned workstreams. Identify and escalate risks, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment across stakeholders to keep initiatives on track and within scope.
  • Project direction setting: Influence project priorities and facilitate decision-making by collaborating with relevant stakeholders across Risant Health and affiliated organizations. Ensure alignment with strategic objectives and adapt plans as needed to meet evolving goals.
  • Stakeholder management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and internal consultant. Facilitate change management, track initiative progress, address concerns, and ensure each stakeholder's unique needs and expectations are met with a client-focused mindset.
  • Independent and team oriented: Operate autonomously while contributing to team learning and development (develop information, resources, advice, and expertise). Share knowledge, adapt to feedback, and demonstrate flexibility in managing responsibilities across functions and organizations.


Short and long-term accountabilities:

The IMP Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the work under their purview is delivered within defined program timelines and expectations. Specific measures of success will include, but are not limited to:

  • Meet with the Program Manager and the broader IMP team to provide workstream updates and escalate risks as necessary.
  • Co-develop collaboration guidelines and identify potential risks and dependencies with team members to set expectations and ensure thoughtful, proactive communication.
  • Co-develop materials for Integration Steering Committee with team members.
  • Track progress against the workplan and re-prioritize tasks as necessary.
  • Coordinate with Program EA to schedule team meetings.
  • Meet with external stakeholders across Risant Health affiliated organizations and KP to address blockers and move initiatives/workstreams forward and manage their concerns as needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Business, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Operations, or related field (flexible).

Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree
  • Project management professional (PMP) or equivalent project / program management certification / education, preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills (negotiation, listening and communication skills) characterized by effective interactions with a diverse range of internal and external constituents, stakeholders, and audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience developing dynamic, constructive working relationships and partnerships with operational and physician partners.
  • Proven track record of transforming key business functions/operations in a highly matrixed large enterprise environment.
  • Interpersonal savvy and the ability to influence and facilitate decision making across a diverse group of market and functional leaders is critical.
  • Encourage continuous learning and development, promoting a culture of growth and improvement. Share knowledge and expertise generously, ensuring junior staff have the resources and support they need to succeed.
  • Decisiveness, action-orientation, personal integrity, capability to persevere in difficult situations highly preferred.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Approach challenges with agility, creativity, and innovation
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong teams focused on execution across the enterprise to mid-sized projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Experience working in the managed care industry and/or integrated delivery systems is preferred.
  • Proficiency in collaboration software (e.g., SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Office Tools).

This position has a preliminary projected target base salary of $115,000 - $151,800, which is subject to change as additional market data is acquired. The position is also eligible for incentive compensation, comprehensive wellness, time off, savings and retirement benefits, as well as relocation support, as applicable. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package for employees at Risant Health.
