Network Engineer

Job Description

As a Network Engineer, you’ll start with intensive training in network systems, tools, and communication skills, followed by job rotations to apply your knowledge in practical settings. Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll contribute to live projects and business operations, eventually leading to a full-time opportunity tailored to your strengths and career aspirations.

Network Infrastructure (NI) is focusing on the building blocks and essential solutions of critical networks, driving digitalisation across all industries. In APAC. This program is designed to provide extensive training and hands-on experience in network technology covering latest development in Network automation, Cloud, AI/ML, followed by a comprehensive job rotation to give candidates a holistic understanding of our technology, business processes and work culture.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

• Participate in structured technical training focused on IP, Optical, and Fixed Networks technologies.
• Gain hands-on experience with real network equipment, tools, and management systems.
• Learn fundamentals of network design, security, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Develop professional communication and presentation skills through workshops and face-to-face sessions.
• Collaborate on mini projects with peers and deliver micro-teaching sessions to enhance team learning.
• Rotate through different functions such as integration, solution design, and project management to gain cross-functional exposure.
• Contribute to live projects and assist in business operations under the mentorship of experienced engineers.
• Upon program completion, transition into a permanent role within the NI APAC team aligned to your skills and interests.
  
  

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science with min 1-3 years exp. in related field.
• Strong interest in automation, AI/ML, network engineering and telecommunications.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Basic knowledge in automation, development tools and programming fundamentals using Python, REST API and JSON.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English with strong communication and articulation capabilities.
