DevOps Specialist

Akkodis is seeking an Azure Kubernetes Service Specialist for our client in Plano, TX (on-site) for a contract role.

Reports To: [Engineering Manager / DevOps Lead / Cloud Infrastructure Head]

Pay Rate: $45-$47 per hour, on a W-2 Basis Only.

Note: This position is only available to candidates who do not require a work visa or sponsorship, only for U.S. citizens or Green Card holders. The candidate must work on W-2 only; no C-2-C or third-party candidates are permitted. There is no employer involvement.

Required Qualifications:

• 3–5+ years of experience working with Kubernetes, specifically AKS, in enterprise-grade environments.
• Proficiency with Helm, YAML, and Terraform.
• Deep understanding of AKS architecture, including control plane, node pools, and networking.
• Solid knowledge of Azure cloud services and related security practices.
• Experience configuring monitoring/logging pipelines for AKS and Azure-based applications.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting and Kubernetes configuration management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with one or more languages: Java, .NET (C#), Python, Angular.
• Familiarity with Stateful Set workloads and persistent storage in Kubernetes.
• Exposure to zero-downtime deployments and blue-green/canary release strategies.
• Experience in regulated or high-compliance environments (e.g., finance, healthcare).
