Smartedge’s Client is looking for an individual to help with their Firewall/Network Engineer

Job Details :

Role Name : Firewall/Network Engineer

Role Location : Bucharest, Romania

Role Type : Contract

Job Description:

·        Have experience with managing Cisco Firewall & Cisco ASA

·        Experience with operation & design Firewall

·        Experience with opening & closing Firewall

·        Have experience in Aruba Switches & ClearPass is advantage

·        Perform assessment of existing configuration and architecture

·        Perform initial configuration setup, produce documentation and train junior resources that will execute the roll out

·        Proposes improvement projects (including cost optimization, automation, security) according to local business needs and reports correctly

·        Providing leadership and being the escalation point of contact for the service (technical constraint, incident)

·        Ensures that processes are properly deployed and used within network administrator or IT system teams

·        Coaches a team of network administrators or IT systems (no hierarchiral position, functional management)

·        Performs simple daily administration and networking tasks, can handle complex tasks

·        Performs patch updates, technical changes and update documentation accordingly

·        Works with guidance from a more experienced team member
