C# Software Engineer – Automotive – Heerlen – ALTEN Netherlands (Eindhoven)

The Position

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a C# Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to ongoing client projects in Heerlen, with a strong focus on the automotive industry.

As C# Software Engineer, your main tasks will include:

• Designing, developing, and testing software solutions in C# for automotive applications

• Working with hardware-related interfaces, sensors, or display technologies

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including embedded developers and system engineers

• Translating system requirements into reliable, maintainable software

• Troubleshooting and optimizing performance in measurement or diagnostic tools

• Supporting integration with embedded systems and automotive protocols

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar

• At least 3 years of experience in C# development, ideally in the automotive domain

• Experience with hardware-related software, measurement systems, or display interfaces

• Familiarity with embedded systems, communication protocols (CAN, LIN, etc.) is a strong plus

• Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)

• Analytical, quality-driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills
