Strong Middle Python Engineer

What project we have for you

Officially, this is a temporary allocation for 6 months with the ability to prolong.

We’re looking for a Strong Middle Python Engineer who also has some experience with Go. You’ll join a highly agile team working in a fast-paced environment, where you’ll contribute to the development and maintenance of a high-performance data pipeline system that plays a critical role in company-wide operations.

This role involves working on infrastructure design, as well as server- and client-side development, all within a context of high load and scalability.

What you will do

• Work as part of a team of local and remote engineers in an agile environment.
• Take ownership of developing end-to-end products and features, from design to production.
• Develop new high-quality, scalable, distributed, and object-oriented software.
• Maintain and improve the existing codebase and products.
• Solve diverse complex problems of large scale.
• Continuously learn and evaluate new technologies

What you need for this

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• • B.Sc. in computer science, electrical engineering, or equivalent.
• • At least 2 years experience in Python (preferable also knowledge in Go).
• • Hands-on development experience with distributed services frameworks.
• • Hands-on experience with distributed databases such as RDS/Aurora/PostgreSQL, Redshift, DynamoDB, Lambda, Redis, MongoDB, etc.
• • Hands-on experience using message broker technologies such as SNS/SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, etc.
• • Proved knowledge in:
• • AWS infrastructure.
• • Terraform.
• • Microservices architecture.
