Product Manager – Trade Advance

ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE:

• Vehicle Finance is a growing business for Ujjivan SFB. Trade Advance product plays pivotal role to build a stable monthly business volume for Vehicle Finance department. Needs to monitor retail churning to avoid high cash refund
• Overall responsible for the control of the product performance through follow-ups & co-ordination with sales, credit, operations & collection team
• Ensure to comply regulatory requirements applicable to Trade Advance product

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

• Deep dive in to the TA business and understand challenges and pain points to streamline the Trade Advance process
• Closely monitor the tranches disbursed and cash refund status regularly to understand reason behind and work closely to reduce cash refund % and increasing churning
• Come up with the innovative ideas and implementation of strategies which could help the business achieve the TA goal of 25 to 30% of VF monthly disbursement.
• Manage relationships with dealer and OEMs through regular visits and understand ground-level challenges from a dealer’s perspective

Customer (Both Internal & External)

• Ensure timely communications with sales team on any TA policy & process related changes
• Work closely with cross functional teams (Credit, Operations and Collections) to improvise the TA product and get a broader picture on gaps and lags.
• Act as a key liaison with dealers to build trust and drive usage of the TA offering.
